Overview
Zovack Shoot is a real estate video editing app. Video and photo editing — trimming, speed adjustment, captions, color, and rendering — happens entirely on your device. This policy explains the limited data Zovack Shoot does collect to make sign-in, project sync, and app reliability work.
Account & authentication
Zovack Shoot signs you in with anonymous authentication (Firebase Authentication) so your projects can be tied to your device without requiring an email or password. This creates a unique, anonymous account identifier used only to associate your projects and usage with your installation.
What we store
Only project metadata is synced off your device — things like project names, property details you enter (address, price, beds/baths), template and style choices, and export status. Your actual video and photo files are processed and stored on your device and are not uploaded to our servers as part of normal editing and export.
On-device AI
Room tagging, quality checks (dark/blurry/shaky detection), and speech-to-text captioning all run locally on your device using on-device models. The clips and audio analyzed by these features are not sent to any server.
Diagnostics & crash reporting
Zovack Shoot uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and basic diagnostic information (device model, OS version, app version) so we can find and fix bugs. This data is not used for advertising and is not sold.
Remote configuration
Zovack Shoot uses Firebase Remote Config to control app behavior such as maintenance mode, minimum supported app version, and usage limits. This does not involve sharing your personal content — it only fetches configuration values used by the app.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. Data described above is processed by Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Remote Config, Crashlytics) as our service provider, under Google's own data processing terms.
Data retention & deletion
Project metadata is retained for as long as your account exists. To request deletion of your account and associated project metadata, contact us using the email below.
Children's privacy
Zovack Shoot is intended for real estate professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
